your arrival to bonevine has been expected and anticipated. you are a welcome guest, as we don't have many out here near the stockade. please feel free to have a look around, but try not to stray too far away from your guide, a familiar named parable. he knows these dens like the details in his scales.

before you sits the companion of the familiar. you recognize this to be a baby obelisk, at least... until you make eye contact with the creature. you see that he is much, much older than you could have imagined initially. something tells you that he has been here long, long before you and he will be here long after you are gone.

he doesn't speak to you once you arrive. he just smiles and steps to the side to allow you entrance through the huge mouth of the cave that seemed to lead partially underground and partially up into the frozen mountain. tunnels leading to dens of all shapes and sizes, alight with all sorts of magical means ranging from crystals and sprites, all the way to candles and lightbulbs embedded into the thick walls. you anticipated to be cold, damp and dreary in here, but it's rather warm and full of life.

you turn to ask the dragon his name, but he is nowhere to be found when you do. a cool chill sends a shiver through your spine. parable urges you forward with a quiet sound.

somehow, as you venture further, you come to know that the dragon was the narrator.
