Biography

Fleshing out the lore - check here for the original by HoppingFridge!

Hecate with her… partner.
Hecate was sitting properly on her side of the gate while Baphomet was slouching on his side, both of them watching over Hell as they do every day. This day was different, however, as she noticed that he was staring at something from the other end of the territory.

There stood a small creature, one in resemblance to that of a gargoyle as it trotted around, sat, and stared at the two. A grin spreads wide across the creature's face, and it strides closer to the large gates, its crystals flaking out around its body the closer it gets.

This isn't good. What are this creature's intentions? Does it wish to storm the gate?

Hecate stood tall, her two tails flicking as she firmly says, "Back away. You are not worthy to tread here, nor are you permitted to."

The creature sits down again, its red crystals causing the black pelt to stand out as it stares at the two once more. Baphomet looks over at Hecate, "You only just noticed? It's been watching us for days, from that obsidian tower near the pit. It perches there for hours, unmoving even at the strongest gusts of wind!"

Hecate considered her partner's words, realizing that she had in fact seen the creature before. She's watched it fly to the ground and patrol the tower, before it'd perch back up. But why is the creature over here now? It should be honoring its duty.

She looked down upon the creature again, asking, "Why are you here, creature? Speak your name, and speak your reason."

The creature looks up, grinning as it says, "I am Apollyon, and I wish to sit upon the palace to guard it."

Hecate looks upwards, to the perch at the very peak of the palace. She says, "This palace is sacred territory, Apollyon. You're not permitted to enter. If you work diligently guarding your tower, you will be given permission to stand with us."

Once again, HoppingFridge created the first bits of lore. I simply fleshed it out.
