Biography
Aurora, named for her wings, a sharp contrast to the inky blackness of her scales, but reflective of her disposition.
As a shadow dragon she maintains the playful curiosity, and teasing secrecy of her kind, though her colder edges have been tempered in the warmth of the nature lair she resides in. She teaches now, training the hatchlings to be clever, and to be cautious.
Her own pursuits remain mostly secret, even to those close to her. What is known is theoretical magic, and study of the world itself.
She remains somewhat aloof, choosing to engage or not engage in conflict, trade, or conversation as her whims take her. Like shadows dancing in firelight, it is hard to predict what she will do.
Even her charge remains a closely guarded secret.
"To reveal what I know would place my charge in danger. So I choose to be true to myself, and to act as the shadows do. If the time comes I must act, then I will. Until then, I wait."
