Tulip hatched with a translucent gummy body. She is made of an unnatural bubblegum-scented slime that can change consistency and shape depending on what she wants, and she completely lacks any teeth. This abnormal body is thought to be a severe mutation of the scale condition her father has. Despite how strange she looks, she is a very sweet soul and is incredibly loving, helping others in any way she can and keeping a cheerful attitude. However, she is still very shy.

Tulip just didn't understand it. Any time she laid eyes on Cashmere, she would begin to melt. It was so embarrassing to turn into a puddle every time she saw him. She felt so ashamed and would hide away while in this state so he would not see her, and she got incredibly self-conscious when he was nearby. It was a rather frustrating situation.

She runs a bed and breakfast (the Rainbow Gumdrop Inn) with Cash.


She turned the corner, and who should be standing there but Cashmere?

"Tulip, love, you're looking gorgeous today," he said softly, tipping his head politely at her. "Why, you seem very bright this evening, like the petals of a pixie rose."

Tulip felt her temperature rise, and she could have sworn that her body shifted into an even deeper pink. Nevertheless, she had no time to deal with Cashmere's sweet talk, so she simply ducked her head in embarrassment and scurried away.

He watched her go, but did not look surprised by this reaction. He did, however, seem disappointed.
