Wraith. Spirit. Phantasm. Ghost.

All words that describe an apparition of someone who once was but no longer is, or on rare occasions never was to begin with. It is believed that when one passes with unfinished business or with strong enough emotions; the energy, the soul, the incorporeal part of you that makes you you returns in a hope to finish whatever it is left undone.

This mysterious revenant is rather rare sight. Circecaea has many skeletons in her closet but this fellow? Not one of them. He's much older than anything Circe has been up too. No one is really sure who or what he was, only that sightings of him are considered a grave omen. Witnesses say that he'll sometimes silently watch them for a few moments or they'll catch glimpses of him walking by around corners or across the way. Does not respond to any attempts at communication and has not made any attempts to communicate on his own. Even Naexys is a little unsure what to make of his sightings; none of the spirits she's communicated with seem to know either. Is he some lost wraith, a victim off happenstance? Is he actually a spirit that warns those who sees him? Is he actually The Great Reaper on his way to count the daily harvest?

No one knows, and no one hopes to find out.
