Biography

When Susato Mikotoba and her father Yuujin were brought to Sornieth, they first arrived in Dragonhome of the Earth region. Susato herself possessed Arcane magic, and practiced alongside Yuujin to learn to control it. The two had no idea where they were meant to go in the vast world of Sornieth, so for the time being they simply remained with a clan in Dragonhome that took in lost folk and bided their time. One day, a clanmate came with a copy of Randst Magazine, which held tale of Sherlock Holmes' latest exploit... In Sornieth. And that was all they needed to set off and find him, living in Clan Tellatale of the Shifting Expanse. After they arrived, they reunited joyfully with their friends from London and were accepted into the clan without hesitation. Susato has already made several friends in the dragons living here, becoming their favorite little or big sister. They teach her whatever she'd like to know of their trades, and in exchange she'll teach them whatever they'd like of law, Japanese culture, or martial arts. Hyde especially loves coming to learn new fighting skills from her. When Kazuma and Ryuu arrived at the clan, Susato greeted them with joy and happily returned to acting as their judicial assistant. She works mainly with Ryuu, as Kazuma is still a prosecutor, but when he comes for advice and aid, she'll gladly help him. When they're working cases, she can be found working diligently at their sides, or sometimes pouring a cup of tea for them. Any time Holmes has a new case to share (or as much as he can share it, with his spotty memory), Susato can always be found listening to him recall it with starry eyes. Or, maybe a look of exasperated fondness. Or bafflement. And it's not a rare thing for her to be hidden away in her part of the cave with Iris, the sounds of their giggles and chattering a heartwarming sound, more sweet than bitter in a "maiden's chamber of bittersweet secrets." (AKA, she only allows other girls in her room.) With Barok and Benjamin, she's just as pleasant and amiable. She's wary of Enoch, but regards him politely. |
