Titan

Like many other dragons in his clan, Titan has never known his parents. He was told once that his parents had grown impatient of waiting for him to hatch, and had dropped him off at the hatchlings department at the Auction House. He doesn't know of their whereabouts and have never forgiven them for abandoning him.
He doesn't remember much of his time at the Auction House, just that it was cold and quite crowded. He was only there for a matter of hours after hatching, when a friendly Skydancer passed through. They locked eyes and she smiled at him. Soon after, he was clinging to the Skydancer's back as they flew southwest.

Titan named himself. He chose this name after finding it in one of Skyrunner's books - a book about myths of a different universe - because he wanted to be more for others than his parents were for him.
Despite being a Lightning Dragon, his connection to his element was always weak. Even so, he had big ambitions, but nowhere to put them at the time. Scrum was still in charge, and forced all dragons to spend their days gathering, so he could eat. Titan would still sometimes sneak off to train his combat- and flying skills to compensate for his frail magic attacks, and upon reaching adulthood had become an adept melee fighter.
After Neige took charge, she established a temporary team of dragons who should be able to protect the clan from attacks. Titan immediately borrowed some armor and was first in line for signup. Neige quickly saw great potential in the young dragon, and when a more permanent guard force was created, he was appointed Clan Guard Captain. In this position, Titan works directly underneath Neige, and has so far been able to chase off any undesired predators entering the perimeter of the lair.
The other dragons who have protective duties have a great deal of respect for him.

Titan really wants to be perceived as a good leader, and goes very far to protect his fellow clan members. He hardly ever complains about injuries, even if they are severe. He comes off as a quite forward young dragon, who has little time for mind games, which makes his and Ruby's friendship rather odd - but that bond is not caused by social compatibility.
He is quick to jump to conclusions, and is stubborn as a rock; even Neige sometimes has difficulties keeping him tied. Even so, he strives to be the best dragon he can be.

To add to his strive for perfection, he had to acquire a perfect mate. When Aurora joined the clan as Nerissa's apprentice, it seemed perfect. She herself admired both looks and success in a field, and even with his battlescars, he was still pleasing to the eye. The two enjoyed a good few years together, and had many lovely clutches, but eventually their differences drew them apart.

His abilities as a father can be questionable. He wants them to follow his principle of being the best they can be, but most of them never seemed to appreciate getting paced that way. Only Moon still resides in the clan, and even then their relation is somewhat strained.

Titan claims that he has no fears, and that he has achieved all his dreams.
In his heart, he yearns to learn more of his bloodline.
