Bela and her familiar were taken in by Sangria after Bela’s father was killed by bandits. She was a shy and cowardly child until she first picked up a blade. Fighting seemed to give Bela purpose.

Bela is pledged to serve the clan's leaders. She is trusted by both Daegan and Sangria implicitly, and is often called upon to do work that they themselves cannot be seen doing. Needless to say, Bela knows how to be discreet.

She is clever and collected, and comes across as rather cold. Some say that she only softens around her mate, Cerise. Others are not willing to take the risk of spying on the warriors to see if the claims are true.

Bela was gifted her familiar Kafas when she was a child, and they have been together ever since.
