Masika was the first born between Queen Eris and King Murmur after the pair were forced to flee the Adamas Realm. As such, they'd given her a name that reflected the state of their lives she was born into. Even at such a young age, she was planned to do great things and bring their realm back into power in their new location within the Starwood Strand. Princess Masika's lessons in ruling would start only days after she was old enough to leave the nest.

The princess grew into her role even when she was still a hatchling. While her brother Aiki was trained to fight by their father, Masika shadowed her mother. She picked up her mother's manipulative tendencies, bending dragons to her will without them even realizing—or those who did wouldn't dare question her. She was a natural from the start and her mother was quick to praise her for how quickly she learned. When Masika grew old enough, they began gathering more dragons to aid in rebuilding the Verum Adamas Realm.

It was time to put her verbal lessons into practice. While Eris stayed the queen of the realm, Masika was given the responsibility of commanding them. One day this experience would give her the knowledge she'd need to rule as queen as her birthright granted her. The princess was generous to her subjects, offering them rewards in return for their work... All to manipulate them into giving her what she wanted with minimal effort on her part to return the favor. Only her brother and their parents could see through the spoiled royal's ruse—part of the reason the siblings didn't get along.

One day while out in the territory the young dragon found an imperial hatchling from Plague named Hollow. The egotistical hatchling was fast to take a liking to her after only a few compliments Masika originally used to get him to join the realm. She would admit, his arrogance allowed her to manipulate him and at first that was all she cared for. Hollow didn't give up though and Masika slowly genuinely grew to enjoy his company as he grew older and became a knight. Soon, he was the only dragon she truly trusted to protect her from threats.

Taking on a mate who wasn't royalty or a noble wasn't the most desired option but her father Murmur hadn't been royalty either—he had been a commander noble. For a long time the pair kept the relationship hidden from the subjects of the realm... But it became too obvious over time. As a new growing realm and one of most powerful dragons in it, Hollow was granted the status of nobility and then wed to Masika. The pearlcatcher could feel her life coming together; she always got what she wanted just like her mother.

Soon enough, Masika had a nest of three hatchlings of her own. Her first born, Manik, became her but she spoiled her daughters just as much. If anything, she was tougher on her son, as he would need to learn to lead too should anything every happen that would lead to him taking over anytime soon. With how their enemy had been closing in on them, it was unfortunately possible; unfortunate enough that Manik was stolen from the castle when he was still a hatchling. It devastated the royal family but Masika never wanted to give up hope they could save him... but as time passed she believed it was too late.

The kingdom continued to grow. Threats rose and were taken out, though for a long time many hatchlings continued to disappear. Masika taught her remaining daughters how to lead as well in place of her lost son. With how much the kingdom had grown, even they would have their own smaller towns to rule soon as baronesses. Her heir however, was her daughter Sunela. Masika made sure that in this trying time to stress the importance of keeping up the royal family's image.

When Manik unexpectedly returned, the kingdom celebrated. While Tantris was still a large threat that threatened to destroy their kingdom again, the royal family had the Verum Adamas Realm at their backs. Their perfect image was brought together once again with only Aiki's leave to make his own kingdom staining their happy story. If Masika was honest though, it was a good riddance as he never cared for upholding the family image. Now she was the sole heir and her family had an entire kingdom at their command: perfect.
