A young nobody hatched in Fire flight, he followed his dad back to Lightbringer's town. He doesn't have any memory of his mother, nor does he really care. He wasn't all too close to his own dad, who seemed to have his sights set elsewhere besides his clingy weird kid. Nitride wasn't able to remember Blaise, and wasn't able to remember why he had this kid in the first place. Nitride, not interested in keeping this weird, clingy, mini version of himself that seemingly spawned from nowhere, he found it fit to dump this little offspring right on the nearest doorstep.
The doorstep of an irate, blind, blacksmith. Magma, known for his weapons forging, wasn't keen on keeping a young, loud, and very slippery ridgeback in his dangerous, forge-filled home. The little brat might have been fireproof, but Magma wasn't. He didn't need someone grabbing his hot tools and poking him with them. However, the resident's tinkerer seemed to like visiting to gift the little dragonet with little toys, and Magma had always wanted to get closer to her. Taptalion couldn't care less, except he HATED Magma. Old dragon never let him grab any of his fun glowing tools, always made him sit and pose with hot armor on, and never let him keep any of it! The first chance he got, still a very young dragon, Taptalion broke for the hills. |

| Living in the Scarred Wastelands is never easy, especially not for young dragons from other flights. Taptalion was perhaps lucky in this regard. He scrambled around the outskirts of Lightbringer town, foraging and never venturing that deep into the wastelands, always being chased around by some of the residential guards. |
