Glitch spends her youth haphazardly in the Wyrmwound, much as any other Aberration does. But while her friends recklessly embrace danger at every turn, Glitch prefers to enjoy the scenery. She doesn't leave the Wound until Lollipop invites her. She loves their days of adventure together, the food and the fighting, the long flights and funfaires.

But when Lollipop gets it into their heads that they're going to open the Forbidden Portal, Glitch quickly realizes that this mission will take some time. So she settles in. She watches the stars, she tends to the eyestalks and slimy flowers. It's a slower life than she was used to, decadent in the way she can appreciate each passing day. Under the radiation of the Portal, just as surely as the blight of the Wound, she changes. Sprouting feathers like a bilworper and skittering limbs like a multimist, she becomes more at home with her surroundings each day.

Enigma's arrival is the final piece of that puzzle. She was meant to be here.
