She never needed her eyes to know what others were feeling. She could sense it. Their feelings radiated around them in an intangible aura. Vague figures were easily defined by their unique feelings. Sonije could tell them apart without trouble. It's how she identified people. It's how she identified problems.

With a penchant for empathy and the appearance of otherworldly knowledge (which really, is little more than reading behavior and tone shifts), Sonije has proven useful again and again in encounters with various lifeforms. She plays the role as a mediator, diplomat, and councilor all rolled into one. Without her, the other members of The Collider would drown under their own unpredictable emotions.
