A collector of birds, her menageries nest all around the den site. Hidden in corners and peeping during all hours of the day. She enjoys taking care of all the feathered creatures in the den, dragons and birds alike. Undyingly loyal to those that are kind to her is the hallmark of her personality. It is seen in her love for her fellows even if she does not heed their words. It's more of a matter that they belong under the name of the clan and she defends all who claim the title. This reborn Mirror is as untamed as her familiar. Both chose to run wild and only heed the words of a few members of the clan she's decided are worthy of her following. A few of her Mirror traits still linger, such as her nose and need for pack living. She can't quite fly as well as a natural Skydancer, but her fluttering doesn't seem to bother most. It is said that is how she met Aedus, he was unable to control his spirals and she was unable to get out of the way. Love does sometimes come crashing into you mid-flight. She and Aedus then raised Sette as their daughter, her egg had been given to them as a gift from Nightbird as thanks for their service. She knew that they would raise a fine warrior, and Eloise would like to believe she is one of the best around. Eloise spends much of her time either in the gardens or at her mate and child's side in the coliseum. One of the strongest battlers, even Basilius makes way for her. She's quite humble about it, refusing to admit or even speak of the matter with outsiders. She does it for the good of the Clan, knowing that this is where their food and money is earned. Her work in the coliseum is renowned as those who go to battle with her come back with stories of feats almost unheard of. She doesn't teach many her ways but any lesson from her is one not soon to be forgotten. Despite the power she wields, she always defers to Nightbird. Perhaps it is out of duty or out of adoration for her adoptive mother. Either way, the Clan holds a balance within itself. She is a loving mother and watches over her spontaneous husband. It's thought that his humor balances out her cold exterior. Basilius seems to trust her with holding his potion in his absences. |
