Divider-vert-long-1.png It's not quite known where his egg came from, only that Nightbird had traded away a few familiars with shadows and he appeared not long after. As a small hatchling, he was rather needy, and disliked being too far away from Nightbird. The echoes of his screeches still ring in the den and the memories of the dragons who witnessed it. Having since grown, he's still very much attentive and loving towards his adoptive mother.
He has been useful to the clan ever since, he runs the archives and keeps the books in line of the dragons who come and go through the clan on their way to serve the ice warden. He spends much of his day in the archives, hiding among the tommes with his familiar, Chipper. She nestles in the space between his wings and mimics his own mimicry. It can be quite amusing when they bicker, drawing on their vast banks of voices and sounds.

The two tend to work together on most projects that get proposed by the council. Rarely does he speak of them to outsiders. Outsiders being people who don't belong in the spaces between old books and scrolls.

He delights in educating others, having looked back on his own history. He spends a lot of time with the hatchlings, teaching them the characters and how to read and write. He believes it is every creature's right to gain knowledge as they see fit.

His singing is truly well known. He is often asked to sing late at night by the elders or by Nightbird herself. He can be seen practicing tunes with Chipper to come up with a new series of notes, unlike any she has heard before.

Nightbird has quite a soft spot for the small hatchling she raised. She watches over him, not really interfering with his day to day life anymore. Not like she used to. He doesn't really realize this, he just marvels at the small amount of time he can spend with her.
