Biography
Within a secluded island, referred to as Haven by its residents and The Isle of Mangoes by everyone else, a handful of dragons lived in relative peace, until a catastrophic storm ravaged the area, and in an effort to save their offspring, the parents of nests left their eggs and hatchlings where they believed to be the safest: a tiny crevice in which only eggs and the smallest of dragons could fit. Many died that day, and once the tempest had calmed, only an extremely small population of dragons remained, almost all of them immature.
Oddly enough, among the eggs that survived, there was one that didn't look like the others. It seemingly appeared out of nowhere, and when it hatched, a nocturne dragon was there. This is the start of the Outlier linage; a group of dragons that, to every other dragon's knowledge, were not part of any lineage. As for how they got to the island, nobody knows.
Fladyquill joined the outlier lineage as soon as he hatched. He spends most of his time rummaging through ruins and trying to piece together the remnants of the island. Despite having no familial connection to the things there, he seems to be very attached to the idea of what the island used to be. Most of what he does is to "restore the island to its former glory!" and he goes about the task as if he were piecing together a puzzle.
Despite the insensitiveness when asking about the island history and trying to bring it back, he's been good at gathering information about it all. Because of this, Soritt has recruited him to the efforts of recordkeeping, though Fladyquill is often a bit too energetic to stay for long. Despite the two very different energies, they both get along very well and consider each other family, enough that if they were still relevant, Soritt would have asked if Fladyquill could join his lineage.
