Mate: Miri

Peder wouldn't call himself a romantic, but he is head-over-tail in love with his mate, Miri. He enjoys wood-working and stone-carving; he finds there is beauty in creating shapes and features out of a material that started out as rather unassuming in appearance. While he makes a living out of selling many of the pieces he creates, when he has spare time, he likes to whittle small figurines for Miri. He is hard-working and cares deeply for the community around him, but he has a hard time being upfront about his feelings and can make quick assumptions before seeing the whole picture. He exudes a sort of smalltown-dragon charm, and has manners for days.

He has an overabundance of siblings, but he left the lair when he was far too young to be able to form any sort of relationship with them, even those who were born in his clutch. Peder is closest with Miri, but he has formed many friendly connections with his commissioners and customers. Still, he is never opposed to having more friends.

Upon finding a rather large, lumpy grey-ish stone that had veins of pinks running through it, he took it home with the intent of carving a pair of eagles out of it; one for himself, and one for his beloved, so that they always could have a part of the other near, even when they were apart. However, the rock must have had some sort of magic imbued into it, because as long as Miri and Peder carry their eagles with them, they are able to communicate telepathically with one another.
