Manor is a restless individual. She flits from experiment to experiment, changing her field often. She’s very energetic and occasionally loud, though only when excited. He is never gentle, even with her loved ones–his brand of tough love has gotten results before, so he’ll continue in that vein until results change. He loves gossip and will talk for hours about strangers, but those close to her may notice that she doesn’t seem interested in the thoughts and feelings of those closest to her, only their actions. Strangers and friends alike have described her as spoiled, or bratty, but Aleksas and Vida see it as a simple zest for life and a slightly unfortunate sense of humor.

Manor hails from a small clan on the outskirts of the Cloudsong. Bored with her small-town life, she ran away at a fairly young age and joined the crew of a ship. Vida, a meterologist, was a passenger on the ship; Manor was fascinated in the scientific process and asked to accompany Vida back to her lab. Vida agreed and began to teach him how to operate the less delicate equipment.
indentVida became like a surrogate mother to him over the years, and now Manor is a fully-fledged scientist in his own right. His specialty is elemental biology. The duo came across Aleksas and their group in the Shifting Expanse. Vida and Manor jumped at the chance to travel with such an interesting group–for protection in the wilds, of course. They took down all the data they could along their travels, writing papers and performing experiments that were sure to garner attention back at the Observatory.
