Thymar

During the Night of the Nocturne, Thymar got lost.

Orphaned as a hatchling, he lived in a foundling den in the Tangled Wood with a gaggle of others who, like him, had nowhere else to go. The grizzled old dragons who ran the den were well-meaning and kind enough, but with so many to care for, it was easy to be overlooked; and for a young fae, it was even easier. Separated from the group, Thymar had stumbled through the woods, alone for longer than he'd ever been before.

At last he broke through the trees into the soft glow of a mushroom grove. In the center of the grove stood a hill, and on top of the hill stood a ring of glowing mushrooms. In the darkness, they shined like a beacon of safety, and Thymar thought perhaps the hill would give him a vantage point, to help him get his bearings.

But the moment he stepped into the ring, the world tilted and changed; he fell and then kept falling, down, down, down. He landed in the court of a Fairy Queen - the Queen Under the Hill.
