Biography
Moon Moths are a subspecies that revealed themselves shortly after the rest of their Veilspun kin. They originate from the borderlands between Shadow and Plague territory, where the Wispwillow Grove has begun to rot and mutate. The combination of elemental influences gave rise to the Moon Moths' preferred food, the iroun lunais fungus, also known as the white moon mushroom. Eating this mushroom mutates the Moon Moths' bodies, turning them white and causing them to sprout extra wings. These wings change color with the dragon's mood and give off a soft, colorful light, which helps them silently communicate with each other. Most Moon Moths are Plague or Shadow dragons due to the region they come from, but another major population comes from Arcane territory, having gravitated to the remnants of an experiment the Arcanist was doing on the white moon mushroom. While most Moon Moths are white, a rare obsidian variant also exists. These, known as Eclipse Moths, eat a different kind of fungus - lunicht lunais, the black moon mushroom. The black moon mushroom is rarer, and therefore Eclipse Moths are as well. Like standard Moon Moths, Eclipse Moths have extra wings that change color with their mood and give off a soft, colorful light that aids in communication. Occasionally, a Moon or Eclipse Moth may eat both the iroun lunais and lunicht lunais mushrooms. The combination of influences turns the Moth shades of gray and causes their body to fluoresce many different colors at once. Sometimes their coloration is fairly even, and sometimes they may have a dark body and light wings or vice-versa. These hybrids are known as Penumbra Moths. Clan of Origin: Clan Khoshekh (teimywimey) For questions, comments, or requests, please comment on the Moon Moth forum thread or contact teimywimey, agentmissouri, or BerkleyPearl. |

Bluebell Busies herself at a desk with her work to compile the discoveries of the many scientists across Sornieth for the release of her magazine every six months. She reviews each with studious eyes, talking with each scientist who she hopes to feature, and is absolutely ecstatic with the recent boom of archeology the scientific community has discovered. She has been working with Arlo recently, vastly enjoying his personality and enthusiasm for his particular branch of science. Quite contagious, she thinks! She has learned so much, not only about the past of the world she lives in, but also about the careful, meticulous ways to navigate it, and to care for the incredibly wonderful things which are unearthed from it. When she has the time - and she does make that time to do so - she spends time with her two partners, Thelionema and Orchid. It is incredibly important to do so, so she does not burn out. |
