  • One of the few surviving members of the Yemokar. Alabastor, for as gruff as he is, would be considered soft by his kin. If you asked him, this sure as hell wasn't what he imagined he'd be doing at his age.
  • As per the warnings of Phyress' worshipers, Alabastor has given up weaponsmithing, though it hurts his fireborn heart to do so. He still flexes his blacksmithing muscles by forging prosthetics, tools, and trinkets, but it doesn't fulfill his passion for crafting those perfectly weighted swords, glaives capable of slicing the air, daggers that could practically fly on their own... Even still, he's bound by his sense of responsibility to the everlings that depend on him for protection and support and in his heart of hearts he would never risk the safety they've found in the Infinity Grove to return to his old life.
  • While he's never spoken to anyone about the Yemokar, part of Alabastor misses his home and the dragons that lived beside him. It's clear now that they were overly aggressive to outsiders, too harsh on their own, and dangerously cocky, and though in his opinion it was for the best they were humbled, it doesn't kill the ache deep in his chest when he thinks about it.
  • The secrets and traditions of the Yemokar are unforgettable to him, but as the last survivor (to his knowledge), he is guilty of having considered letting it all die with him. Their forging techniques are legendary and their skill in battle is unmatched, but the harm that came with learning it all and the 'culture' around it... At his age it's becoming more and more apparent that he's going to have to make a choice about it soon.
