Biography

The many complex structures throughout Delphi's territory do not spring from the landscape of their own accord, though some of the more grotesque architecture may appear that way. Zalkova is the latest and most long-lived of Delphi's chief architects, and it is his duty to see that the clan's facilities remain stable and are able to fulfill their purposes, as well as to plan and oversee the construction or excavation of new ones as necessary. He takes this job fairly seriously, and it is to his credit that he does so as much out of love for his craft as the skulls of his last three predecessors displayed as prominent reminders in his personal lairspace where he cannot help but see them on a daily basis.

Zalkova's personal style is not the most morbid of the chief architects, but it is quite pragmatic. He prefers sturdy, solid structures which can endure the abuse of elements, attacks, and day-to-day living--and, as a pragmatist, if that requires the use of a few dragons' remains for lack of better material, then so be it.

There are probably very few dragons, save those in the patrols, who are as familiar with the entirety of the clan's territory, as his work has him travelling the entire length and breadth of Delphi's land. He is also required to enter no few highly classified areas in order to inspect the structures, but he swears up and down that even he has no idea where Chro actually lives or works or what goes on there and could everyone please stop asking.

Occaisionally, he may make trips to other clans and even flights to review new techniques or materials.
