Mekhi learns some witchcraft from her mother, but it becomes clear after a while that her true talent lies adjacent to that. Having a keen eye for detail and endless patience, Mekhi excels at drying herbs for medicine. She begins travelling to find rare herbs as soon as she gets her mother's blessing, and spends a while traveling alone.

But her customers often want crystals to activate the ingredients she sells, and after many crossed paths, she ends up traveling along side Neculai. To say he's a strange one would be an understatement, but like Mekhi herself, he's passionate about his wares.

Their travels take them across Sornieth, but they always end up circling back to the Observatory. After a while, they find themselves running other errands for the clans nesting near the imposing building.
