____A mercenary of a dubious sort. A smile that edges on the side of unnerving. Claws just a bit sharper than they need be. Not a dragon that you want to cross. Though she gets along well with the rest of the clan, she's got quite the short temper, and regularly butts heads with the clan leaders as she skirts the rules. Shortcake has never been one for rules; she does what suits her. She does what she has to in order to survive.
____She seems to be more dedicated to the act of Searching than to that which she is actually searching for. She's only been a part of the clan for a short while, and even then it's the longest she's ever been in one place since she was a hatchling. One has to wonder why that is...
____If you're eagle-eyed, you might notice the not inconsiderable amount of time Shortcake spends with Lovelace. They're remarkably similar: both female Guardians, well-traveled, with storied pasts. They're two peas in a pod, each walking in step with the other.
____If you can keep a secret, you might learn that Lovelace is the first true friend Shortcake has ever had — though from the looks they give each other, perhaps she is something more...

Her concerning expertise with traps and espionage now seems better suited to harmless pranks on her clan members, although, through her hard veneer, it's hard to imagine her as a prankster.

Delights in frightening small hatchlings, unnerving their parents, and appearing from dark corners at inopportune moments to scare her friends. She won't tell anyone what is in the vial around her neck.
