Elea

Elea has been my traveling companion for a few years now, and we've seen our share of adventures together. Apparently Guardian dragons are meant to have something they protect, and her choice of guardianship was... uh, me. "Thou wouldst shuffle off this mortal coil far too soon without me," she said. She's the de-facto matriarch around here: all the hatchlings sit up a little straighter when she's around. She's great with magic, and she taught me how to do most of my own spells, but it makes her tired to use. I wonder if finding her an arcane focus might help?

She's a very private person, and I don't mind it that way, really. Sometimes there's things we just don't want to be reminded about. I don't know exactly how old she is—I wrote down our meeting date here, but if I tried to count the rings on her scales, I think my head might start swimming. She can't have been searching for a charge that entire time until she found me, though... But I shouldn't pry into her business. She's been brightening up a lot since we made a home here, and I think she likes having other dragons around to fuss over instead of worrying about me all the time.

No matter what, we'll always be best friends, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
