"Time is an illusion, as is reality."
"I am nowhere and everywhere."
"I know who you were, who you are, and who you will be."
"I am no god, but I am all-knowing."
"There is always an end and a beginning."
"Enjoy your stay."

The clan started with two dragons, mates. WitheredShadow and Firetuft, Guardian and Fae, made the town we know today. Firetuft was an inventor, partnered with Vincent in his youth. The mirror soon became jealous of the faes success and attacked him, threatening to kill him and steal his works for his own. Firetuft was chased off, presumed dead. Running away he found Shadow injured and offered to take care of her. Shadow's origins are unknown. Firetuft lived in constant fear and paranoia, afraid the mirror may return. Shadow quickly assured him if the dragon were to ever return that she would protect him, calming him down for quite the while. Soon they were accompanied by all sorts of dragons and soon, a village was made.

Hatchlings came and went, always an abundance of new dragons coming in and out, it was a peaceful time of growth and joy. Various bands and groups were made, the most significant being the Birdskull Fighters and Glitchers.

Soon fear got the better of Firetuft, he hid the now village deep within the Shadowbinder's territory to the point the only way in or out was a mushroom portal he and Shadow had crafted. The surrounding forest was protected by a band of gaolers and a few banescales. On the outskirts resided a small guild as well but they were presumed not to be a threat. Over many moons things started feeling off in the village, dragons went missing or behaved unnatural. A large group by the name XVilX was rising, Vincent's spies.

The home was attacked, Firetuft's children were kidnapped. After a vicious fight he managed to get them back but not without seeing his old friend. He was broken, torn, half machine half dragon. Half of his face was replaced and it took a toll on him and his marriage. They escaped, but forever burdened with what they saw what he had done, and what he was doing to his own people.

When found out the entire village was closed off, a war had begun. Deep underground were Firetuft's creations: androids. The androids rose and fought with their master, killing or chasing off every one of the traitors. Many were lost, the village remained mostly of androids. Soon, they filed out, finding homes of their own. Then, various professors arrived, taking androids and more into labs to be experimented with, titled PROJECT DREPON. Moons of torture and evil practices took place while Shadow and Firetuft were nowhere to be found.

The experiments broke out, killing all those who had hurt them, burning the buildings to the ground. Those who survived long enough labeled their downfall as PROJECT FAILED from then on. The experiments split up into three groups: Those who wanted homes, those who wanted to wander, and those who were violent and wished death on all similar practicing scientists.

"Not much is known of what took place after this era. The books here have been lost."

The leaders returned, bringing more dragons with them, starting anew. Hundreds of orphans were adopted in, taking up most of the entire village, those who weren't resided in the Hibernal Den, waiting to be awakened by another era that wasn't this one.

One dragon rose up, Lily, she was called. She was a new leader, promoted as such when the leaders went into Hibernation. She started making changes, taking in hatchlings to train and send off, but alas little to no geneing in sight. Soon many orphans started leaving, off searching for more homes and adventures. Lily made a council to govern while the main leaders were away. Any other dragons with lineages were moved to the Hibernal den to make room for the dragons that needed to leave, that needed new homes. Hundreds started leaving and the village began to fall into a standstill once again.

A team of bounty hunters made themselves at home on the outside of the village, their story will return later. At the state that the village was in, it was more of a training station that anything. Bringing in dragons to train for the Shadowbinder, sending them off, every once and a while dragons were born but nothing more than that.

...

Over time, old buildings crumbled and new rose, order began to form piece by piece. Soon, a border was made, and the old village was replaced by a vast city full of winding roads and beautiful pieces of architecture. Guards were set in place, small gods showed up, and the council was renewed and strengthened. Shops and Inns sprouted, then an entire section of the city was formed and dedicated to training dragons for Shadowbinder. Adventurers and Quest Givers started showing at the local Game House, and those who broke laws were thrown into prison. The Hunger Games was created to remember the great battle that took place, and was a way to punish horrendous rule breakers.
