Summoned on accident by a desparate Cassopia hoping to pass her magic exam, Epoch serves as her guardian angel. He is tied to her very wellbeing, and his mission above all is to protect the skydancer from harm. His reserved and proper nature served to distance himself from other members of the clan, however, since his creation he has softened up to some.

Serpentine, having watched her student accidentally procure a dragon spirit from the beyond, was facinated with the abilities possessed by Epoch. From her observations, she deduced that this wildclaw has precognition and prophetic abilities. He is also a very skilled warrior, and aids both Serpentine and Battlecry in battle. Needless to say, after summoning such an entity, Cassopia passed her exam and now works under Serpentine as a mage. Epoch has gained a seat among the Phenomena as the Herald of the Future.
