chatoyant - adjective - 1. changing in luster or color. 2. (in jewelry) reflecting a single streak of light when cut in a cabochon.
Chatoyant arrived with her friend, Lisa, and very quickly made a place for herself in the clan. She and Elsebor bonded instantly over their musical inclinations, and in the evenings she sings along to the music Elsebor plays, her clear voice carrying across the mesa to even the furthest residents.

An easygoing sort of dragon, Chatoyant likes helping others, and her active nights are filled with whatever needs doing, whether it's accompanying Velvet on patrol, rounding up stray livestock, preparing items to be sent outside of the clan, or helping Volute with mending. She doesn't much care for getting super dirty, and takes great pride in her appearance with its silks and jewelry, but she'll even help with grunt work if it needs doing, and worry about cleaning up afterwards. It's easy to tell who she's been helping out most recently, as her innate mimicry tends to reflect that dragon's mannerisms and speech.

She also quickly bonded with Mezzo, and though she doesn't entirely grasp some of the more complex engineering ideas Mezzo bounces off of her, she's always delighted to listen. The two of them share den space now, and their familiars have bonded as well, often playing tag around the clan's buildings during the day.
