  • Creatures of Primordial Light, Lightwardens are powerful creatures who bring with them endless daylight. Attempting to slay a Lightwarden can cause one to be corrupted, consumed by the primordial light, and transforming into a Lightwarden themself. Only those with the Blessing of Hydaelyn can survive the exposure and resist the corruption.
  • Although The Flood has yet to happen in Sornieth, it is possible the recent rise of Lightwarns maybe be related to the weekly dominance events. It was, after all, a imbalance of the elements with Light being too strong and dominate that caused The Flood. This has yet to be confirmed however.
  • Doe to a Lightwarden's instinct to kill and corrupt, having a Lightwarden in a clan can be dangerous- they require a environment with balanced energy or a excess of darkness (in Sornieth's case, Shadow)- and studying one can be fatal.
  • With the number of elements of Sornieth far greater than those of the Lightwarden's native world, it is more than possible that Lightwardens can develop or regain a sense of self and evolve from mindless creatures who act on instinct, to the sentient beings they once were.

  • Lightwardens tend to have a color range between Maize and White as a primary and secondary color, with a range of Yellow and Banana as a tertiary color.
  • Lightwarden primary and secondary genes are Piebald/Paint, Cherub/seraph, Ground/fissure, with Veined and Crackle as the Tertiary gene.
  • A Lightwarden's true nature as a lightwarden however is marked by their Dark Sclera eyes.
  • Because Lightwardens can corrupt those it kills or those who kill it and transform their prey or slayer into a Lightwarden, any dragon can be a Lightwarden (but for some reason not even the Veilspun born in the Light Flight can be turned. Could they have The Blessing of Hydaelyn?)
