Hi! I play a game called Final Fantasy 14 and in the shadow bringers expansion there are these monsters called lightwardens- creatures made from primordial light, born from the world becoming too saturated with the light element.
I had the realization that with the right genes and colors, every dragon (except the veilspun as of this post) can be made to look A LOT like the game's lightwardens and sineaters (sineaters evolve into lightwardens and the difference is one is smart enough to be a boss fight, the other isn't, and lightwarden just sounds cooler).
So i'm started a light subspecies, breeding project... fan dragons(???) based off of the light wardens!
So the lore (which i've taken mostly from the ff14 wiki)

[*]With the number of elements of Sornieth far greater than those of the Lightwarden's native world, it is more than possible that Lightwardens can develop or regain a sense of self and evolve from mindless creatures who act on instinct, to the sentient beings they once were.

[*]A Lightwarden's true nature as a lightwarden however is marked by their Dark Sclera eyes.
[*]Because Lightwardens can corrupt those it kills or those who kill it and transform their prey or slayer into a Lightwarden, any dragon can be a Lightwarden (but for some reason not even the Veilspun born in the Light Flight can be turned. Could they have The Blessing of Hydaelyn?)[/list]

eidolo fits the bill almost perfectly, but he was my first naturally-born primal so it would feel bad to take away his eyes.
(i totally have XIV fandragons but one is Major SHB Spoilers so i would advise against poking around in my lair.)

did him a whole accent and everything. sometimes think switching to a denim or stonewash colored dragon might be more appropriate but i kind of enjoy the sea theme for him. it's got the whimsy.

they're both shimmer/iridescent/opal and usually?? pop out yellow colors but sometimes the accent is brown or orange (see their offspring)

Ooo as a FF14 player myself I am very curious about this (I saw this as I was trying to heal the 85 dungeon in a Trust). This would probably be a great place for Iris/shim/veined and Crystal/Facet as well although those are more expensive. (On Omega if you happen to be on the EU DCs ^^)
While I work with the lighter ranges my closest pair is a my Statue Obelisks but they only get as close as Orca XXY.
Although one could argue they are under the petrified status...
