She keeps it a secret from her brother and from the other clan members, and pretends that she has lost her memory as well. » You might sometimes have the strange feeling that she hides a dark secret. One of her secrets is the fact that she is a male dragon in truth, but after the tragic and cruel event that caused them to flee she changed her appearance with a magic ritual for two reasons: Most importantly, she tried her best to not remember her brother Thymum of the pain they suffered when they were both brothers. Turning into his sister allowed them to start over new, and made Thymum able to look at her without feeling pain and being remembered of his cruel past. In the second place she was able to become an apprentice of a mighty witch who only accepted female disciples; as a matter of fact she wasn't able to deceive the witch, but the witch was so impressed by the almost perfect magical transformation Thymbra performed without any teaching, just by natural talent, that she accepted him as her first male disciple. » Extremely smart and sharp-minded. She had no problems to adapt herself to the new surroundings, but she doesn't feel at home there truly. There is a plan and fate to work towards, though, so this is the price she has to pay. While she pretends trust, friendship, and loyality, and is cherished by many fellow clan members, she doesn't genuinely trust anyone other than herself. » Mysterious, clever, vivacious. Probably always gets what she wants, ultimately. » To everyone's surprise the mighty elder dragon Andunie, who hardly trusts anyone, turned Thymbra and her brother Thymum into her personal servants and attendants. Thymbra is the only one of the siblings who directly communicates with Andunie, though; she learnt the ancient language of Andunie within a few days, while other wise dragons need thousand of years to learn it. » Takes care of her timid brother; noone gets to harm him as long as she is arround (and she is always around, even if you can't see her). |
