Egyptian God of the sun. He was the most important god in ancient Egypt. It was said he was born each morning in the East, and died each night in the West. In the night he traveled through the underworld.

Some say there are previous lives. Who someone was long ago, before they entered the current life. Some say such ideals are false, but if they meet Ra, they might change their minds. Before he even hatched, Ra had memories of traveling through someplace. It was dark and lonely, but it wasn't scary. If anything he felt comfortable wandering through the cold mist. Then, once he reached the end, he woke up as someone else. He, or she as it was at times, loved their lives until the sunset came. Not the sun in the sky setting, mind you, but the sunset of time. Of life. Ra died and wandered through the darkness again before waking up as someone else once more. Then he hatched. He broke out of his egg during the middle of a horrible lightning storm, but he found comfort in it. He checked himself over and he knew that this was real. He was not living life through the eyes of someone else, watching them wander around for years until they finally died. This was Ra's life. Yet his name... he knew his name. He knew it when he hatched. How strange, he wondered. He began to wander, and picked up odd trinkets and things while he walked. He walked, and walked, and walked. Moving from land to land and exploring what he could. He scouted out territories to deem if they were safe for him or not. Clans gave him shelter if he asked, or they sent him running due to fear he was a spy. Everything was so, so strange. He didn't quite understand anything that was currently happening to him. He knew what life involved. He had lived so many lives before, but he never realized how difficult it was. When he watched others through passive eyes he got the idea that life was easy. Any emotions were faked because... how could someone feel? His thoughts soon changed about this. He soon realized that life was pain. It hurt, but at the same time it was so sweet. He enjoyed all types of days. Sunny days, rainy days, finding comfort in knowing the sun was working or was taking a break. Yes, he was well relaxed. Life also hurt him. The nightmares he suffered from at night caused him much pain and fear. He had suffered alone with these nightmares for years while he took odd jobs around the world, gathering food for others and finding strange items for them. Only when he met Kebechet were his dreams finally calmed. Every night she would comfort him, help him through the darkness he had traveled through so many times before. Yet this time the darkness was different. He was afraid of it. He had walked in those foggy woods before, but now that he was alive he was naturally afraid of it. Terrified of what would happen to him once he made his way through the fog and out of the woods. Kebechet helped him through every night, and he repaired her by carrying her when she was tired. Then his precious mate felt sick. Worried for her life, and not wanting her to face the horrors of the forest yet, Ra rushed to find help. He carried her with him, and by the time he found a clan, she had gotten terribly sick. He begged the clan to care for her, promising to repay them with work. The clan agreed, much to Ra's joy, and took Kebechet into their care. Ra kept true to his promise and worked for the clan. He gathered food and items for them, even hunted every now and then despite his dislike of hunting. He considers himself lucky to have found someone like Kebechet, and even luckier to not have lost her.
