Vermilion is a busy dragon, constantly tracking everything going on in the camp all the time. He works with several dragons to keep things in order, such as Cornflower and the food preparations or Moonrunner and the current state of the camp's hoard. While he enjoys talking to other dragons during the day, he often has to cut his conversations short in order to keep up. He and Kestrel have a young hatchling named Cliff who can often be seen playing with his friends or trying to follow Vermilion around as he works.
