Eos protects Wildstep from danger, does any task requested of him by Wildstep, and takes over his job of watching over the clan when Wildstep leaves for a few days. He enjoys spending his little free time with Mango and Fireheart, who both understand his desire to see his home again. He collects items that remind him of home. He is aware that the longer he stays with the clan, the less likely he is to return to his old clan.
• b a c k s t o r y •

Eos grew up in a small clan near the edge of the Ashfall Waste. He grew up being told of the dangers of the Shifting Expanse, and how he must never travel through the huge desert alone, especially without permission. Eos, like all other young dragons, fell for the taunting of his friends who made bets that Eos couldn't survive a night in the Shifting Expanse. He angrily marched out into the desert until he couldn't see the Ashfall Waste anymore, and camped out for the night. When he woke up, Eos realized he wasn't sure which way to go. He began wandering in the direction he thought was to home, but the longer he walked, the more lost he became, until he began running in panic. Eventually he collapsed from exhaustion, but looked up when he heard heavy pawsteps coming towards him. He stared up at another gaoler, who was holding out a paw to help him stand up. The gaoler, named Mattimeo, led him to a small camp out in the desert made up of multiple tents and a fireplace in the middle. Wildstep invited him to stay with the clan, and while Eos wanted to refuse, something about the way the other dragons were staring at him gave him a feeling that he didn't have a choice.
