 Nenad is a gardener. They spend much of their days tending to the small patches of crops and the vast garden they began planting shortly after reaching adulthood. The garden is ever changing, ever growing. It's like tending to a hatchling, they say, in which it needs care and patience and room to grow. When a problem arises, supply it what is needed to fix it. Some problems require more hands-on assistance than others.

They've been making that comparison a lot more since they met Eligio, a skydancer who's making a name for themself picking up some of the many abandoned nocturne eggs left all about Sornieth during the yearly festivities that come with nocturne dragons' most active time of the year. That isn't what originally drew Nenad to the puppet maker-turned-full time parent, but it certainly enticed them to stick around.

Most of their crops now go toward feeding the little mouths trailing after Eligio, and their spare time toward keeping them entertained. The hatchlings have grown on Nenad quickly, and they can't imagine going back to life before them.
