Anatomical Research - Manus Manus leads the research on many matters concerning anatomy. He developed body plans for different dragon breeds for Head Surgeon Butterfly, as well as create diagrams for the Wildlife Research part of the Unit. From tissue analysis, to organ reconstruction, bone structure research as well as general body plans of different creatures, his work contributed heavily towards the medical care in the Hive. Recently, he started working together with a small group of researchers to study how the arcane energy modifies the bodies of wildlife, by comparing it to related creatures from other regions. He hopes to gain the attention of the official arcane region scholars with his work. Outside of work, he spends a lot of time spending time with his son, Fatebound, watching him paint and write. Manus himself tends to read a lot near the fireplace, surrounded by a pile of books. |

Nebula Aqueduct Right next to the Starwood Port, this section of the Hive is home to many scientists and admin staff, making sure that the Hive runs smoothly at all times of the day. It contains 5 main units and dorms for the many dragons who reside in this area. Since it's right next to the Starwood Port, many guests residing there get confused and accidentally walk into the Nebula Aqueduct. It has long turned into an inside joke for the group of scientists. |

Research "...Father." A voice came from behind him, making the older man jump. "What is it, Fatebound?" Manus asked, turning around to his son. He pulled the goggles off his eyes as he turned away from his experiment. "You've been working for too long. You need a break." Manus almost wanted to deny it but the way he felt tired from just staring at the same tissue sample for 4 hours got him good. He didn't even realize how dizzy he felt. "You're not wrong. Let me just seal it up and I'll work on it later." |

Integrity Manus' first summoned familiar that grew with him. It signifies his interest in research and experimentation in the field of bio-engineering. The spirit appears as a Nymph shrouded in molten iron and cinder. It helps Manus by recording audio logs on outside trips. |
