Elfie was born into the SkyLantern clan when it was still just a tiny group of dragons stuck together on the edge of the Zephyr Steppes. The clan has grown and changed hugely throughout her relatively short life and the influx of new faces, life stories and ideas made her a curious little creature. She has an uncanny ability to make even the crankiest dragon crack a smile, even Aula.

As daughter of the clan matriarch, Elfie was raised to be a leading member of the clan. With her natural charm and intelligence, she was an ideal candidate for the role of clan ambassador. The importance of forming alliances and friendships with other clans cannot be underestimated. Representing the clan as a whole, Elfie visits clans both near and far to keep up relations. Diplomacy is paramount in these situations and Elfie must be careful not to cause offence, particularly in the more volatile clans. That being said, Elfie is good at reading a room and choosing her words so everyone has the utmost confidence in her.

A new dragon joining the clan is a great source of excitement for her. Her natural curiosity and innate friendliness make her eager to get to know all her new clanmates. Together with Faf, she decided to create the Welcome Committee. Basically, they both try make new members feel at home in their new clan and show them the ropes. Even if they don't stay long, Elfie is always glad to make new friends that she can go visit.
