If you don't pay attention, you may miss Astara as she strides passed. She is a stunning nocturne who blends into the very shadows around her, able to fade away before your very eyes.

Astara was taken in by the clan as a hatchling and cared for. While originally a fae, she strayed away from the clan one night while the Night of the Nocturnes was upon Sornieth. No one is quite sure what happened to her, but when she returned, the young fae was seemingly turned into a nocturne. Astara refused to tell anyone what had happened that night, though that never stopped rumors from spreading.

From the day she became a nocturne, her powers began. She learned to harness them and use them to her advantage. Her abilities only drew more attention to her, and along with her looks, she attracted many suitors. None of them ever caught her attention, however, until Cypress. The Fae enchanted her, and she adored the attention she recieved from him. He eventually settled within her clan, and the two became mates. It wasn't long before a nest of eggs followed, and of the five, only one resembled Astara, and she was the one who stayed. Not only that, but it seems she inherited her abilities...

When winter ends, Astara stays within the clan while Cypress and Abyss return through the veil back into their realm.
