"The girl screamed, dropping to her knees as her eyes twisted into a poisonous, envious green, monstrous snarls escaping her. It took no time for the once calm and caring girl to morph, twisting and snapping into a beast; a beast dripping with green mucus, enveloping any who are unlucky to touch it. She roared, desperate for all the things she never got to receive."

Envy is an uncontrollable beast from a land known as Cysteria, being identified as a "Core" or "Demon" in that region. It is an enigma that goes by many names and genders, yet Envy is the most common form it takes. It is known for being the most unstable Core, going on rampages if one were to simply have a piece of bread it wanted. Many would die in its wake, and those who lived to tell the tale make sure to tell it well.

Envy's host is naught but a small girl, having gone through unimaginable trauma in her life. She was forced to hide her emotions behind a mask of anger and malice, lashing out constantly. Her mask of anger was inevitably too much for the poor child, and soon, the envy and hatred inside her morphed and twisted her body into this beast. It is said that if you were able to get close to Envy, you could hear the girl's pleads for help, pained and sorrowful. However, the girl will not be freed, Envy consuming her very existence and making her irredeemable.

The green substance that covers Envy's body is actually lava, and the fumes that come from it cause anyone who inhales it to have hallucinations. These hallucinations typically cause the victim to feel enough terror for them to freeze, where Envy goes in for the kill. All of its victims have been melted by the lava on its body, making them unrecognizable.
