Kali; a name despised throughout Sornieth. She was once a prisoner of the Astreon Empire, but, thanks to isolation, she had freed herself. She now wanders the outskirts of the Empire of Elegancia, pouncing on any unfortunate dragon that comes her way and draining their blood away. She usually does this at night, however, so wandering this part of the Scarred Wasteland isn't too dangerous.

She is made out of a strange black and purple goop, which can be identified as blood, but there are traces of unknown substances as well. It's best not to touch it, as it will try to cover up any unsuspecting victims, taking over their minds and corrupting them. She will sometimes leave dragons partially corrupted just to play with them.

It's best not to anger Kali, as she'll swiftly kill or feed off of anyone who does so. Comparing her to Josie, her previous host, is strictly forbidden, and will anger both of them to a great extent. Kali is extremely dangerous, which is why many dragons attempt to kill her. However, they all fail, since Josie is the only one capable of killing her corrupt counterpart.

Despite what everyone believes, Kali has lived for thousands of years, and was reincarnated as Josie's soul once upon a time. Once she became the bloody beast she is seen as today, she roamed Sornieth before finally becoming dormant in Josie's body. However, a ravenous, bloodthirsty beast cannot contain itself for very long.

Despite her being bloodthirsty and constantly hungry, this beast is able to feel plenty of emotion despite her common deadpan stare. She's as emotional as her Wildclaw counterpart, but is able to hide it. This means that she can experience love, but it has only been to one dragon: Sub-Zero.

She and the Skydancer had an odd past, full of constant fights and arguments. However, neither of the dragons could truly despise each other. As time went on, they became tolerant of each other's presence. Then, they became good friends, and soon, lovers. Sub-Zero was the first to confess, and this left Kali confused, but the beast accepted Sub-Zero's affection.

The couple was nearly inseparable, the two almost crying out in pain if they were separated. However, Kali had suddenly disappeared after a while, and Sub-Zero was heartbroken. This lead to Kali getting locked away in Astreon, where she festered in rage. She played with all of those who came to the dungeon, corrupting them with her ichor and becoming twisted almost beyond redemption.

When Kali was freed from her imprisonment, she decided to wander around the Scarred Wasteland, searching for her lost beloved... as well as food. The beast then ran into Eris, who became friends with Kali as time went on. The Bogsneak has her own den near Eris, who keeps watch during the day. Kali occasionally keeps watch overnight, since that is when she's usually active; thanks to Kali, there are very few thieves that come at night.
