Nelka has always been an odd one. Cheerful and dazed, she is happy to farm stones, selling their produce to passersby to earn her living. It's a meager wage, on the slope leading up to the Observatory, but it's enough for her.

When a coatl artist moves into the empty cave beside her den, she brings him a bushel of stones as a housewarming gift. He thanks her gently, and for a while, that is the extent of their interaction.

A few weeks later, he comes to her den, wide-eyed with excitement, and asks for more stones. Delighted to have such an eager customer, Nelka gives him a discounted sack of rocks and sets him on his way. And he must be speaking well of her produce, because business has been booming ever since. Humming happily, Nelka continues tending her fields.
