Biography
Urist, son of Ulfride, daughter of Gugneer, son of Urist, daughter of Elric, Icon of Terramancy
Urist, son of ulfride, daughter of Gugneer, son of Urist, daughter of Elric... is the icon of Terramancy, the power of earth, mud and rocks. The most passive and slow of all elemental schools, terramancy is often mocked or pitied as the “poor man’s magic”, due to being so common amongst folk who have no access to the rest of the elements, but terramancy is capable of feats just as great as any other type of magic.
Terramancy’s combat prowess is most effective against enemies that match earth’s pace, being short ranged, immobile and someone losing effectiveness against flying foes, but they have plenty of slowing and rooting effects to compensate for it. These effects can also be used in combination with hydromancy to destroy the enemy with the power of acid, and at the same time terramancy can use pyromancy’s melting heat to create deadly lava.
In terms of rituals, only alchemy can truly compete with terramancy in terms of economical power. An expert Terramancer can easily construct a city within days, not to mention the ability of less honest mages to create fake gemstones and ores.
