Dirge has a keen interest in mechanical objects. He spends his time fiddling around with various parts trying to invent useful objects for the clan, with varying degrees of success.

Thrumal brings him objects and information from other flights to help with his inventions.

The invention he's most well known for within the Clan is Volt's suit of armor. He relied on knowledge Thrumal had gathered about the technology used in the Lightning flight and the two collaborated over several weeks to perfect the suit. He became instantly attached to Volt the moment she asked him to invent something for her, and while most aspects of technology are above Volt's head Dirge enjoys her friendship all the same.
