Biography
Captain Harlock
Captain Harlock is an outlaw who wanders the endless sea of the universe. Due to some misunderstandings, Harlock is wrongfully marked a traitor by the people of Earth. He does not mind the solitude that it gives him. Although the people of Earth do not look to him for protection, he has vowed to himself and his dearest friend to protect his homeworld until his final breath.
His mighty battleship, known as the Arcadia, is a place of peace, solitude, and personal freedom for the young pirate captain. It is also a parting gift from his oldest and dearest genius friend. The flag of the skull and crossbones, is a symbol of his vow to protect his freedom and homeworld until he’s nothing but dust and bones.
Whenever the fight for his homeworld is finished, he leaves his loyal crew behind to repair the damaged planet. He is never to join them, for he knows that he no longer belongs. He leaves to, perhaps eternally, wander the endless sea of stars, searching for his “final resting place”, accompanied only by the spirit of his dear friend.

Much like a pirate of old, he sails in a ship on the sea. Since he travels the stars, his ship is designed to wander the eternal sea of stars. The most iconic imagery on his ship is perhaps the flag of the skull and crossbones he flys behind it. He is feared by many and respected by some. For those who fear him, they see a ruthless plunderer like the pirates of old. For those who respect him, he’s a figure of hope for humanity. |

Harlock just held me at attention. Something about this old anime and seeing a fandragon of it that just nails the look jumped out at me. I loved looking through all the fan dragons you have that sit in that same old art style that throws back to the days of this animation style and those before it is just a delight.
