No one knows how long Hali has taken refuge at the lake upon the planet of Exiles. The Lake and Hali are one in the same; the names are interchangeable, those few that live as an Exile do not remember how this came to be. They do know, however, that Hali is not alone… For on those darkest nights where shadows grow tall and still, a four-eyed gaze can be seen within the heavy mist.

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.
