Dragon Log

Bound to the “good” side of both Air and Earth, she is an extremely delicate and gentle being…with an incredible lot of elemental power. She also seems to attract the more “innocent” familiars. Perhaps it is a reflection on her own nature?

1-27-15: Her Tourmaline Vulstal has Awakened! She is happy for her friend, and has made him a nice Earth ball to celebrate with. He seems to enjoy rolling it around on the ground almost as much as the young hatchlings of the lair enjoy chasing it…..

4-2-15: After several moonturns of exploring and study, this Pearlcatcher has taken the next step in her studies. To the shock of the whole Clan, she went out on a journey, and came back with a Dwarf Unicorn! The magical, innocent being was accompanied by his dark sister, who seems to have taken a shine to some of the more “grey” dragons of the Clan….

7-1-15: The Dwarf Unicorn has matured faster than usual for his kind, and now he has Awakened fully to his potential--which was considerable to begin with. His dragon companion is thrilled at his success, and they have already begun to engage in a great deal of Air and Earth related magical undertakings....

7-16-15: Having succeeded in helping her friend Equinox remove the odd markings from her wings--and still feeling amused at the reference to herself as the "Golden Daughter" of Shadowfire--this young Pearlcatcher has decided to rest in her cave for a while before attempting any more complicated pieces of magic...

3-9-17: To the shock of many in the Clan, the gentle daughter of Lumos and Shadowfire appears to have suddenly acquired a companion that is a bit... fiercer...than her more usual friends. The Crystal Carrier has an odd feel to it, as if it is hiding something else under the surface.... perhaps this mild-mannered dragon is beginning to change? Or maybe it is simply the imaginative aspect of Air hidden within the fishy creature's intricate magical depths that attracts her....

6-7-17: The Crystal Carrier has Awakened! While his dragon is ecstatic for him, the Clan is still wondering what secrets this odd creature might hold within him...or within his equally odd globe....and devoutly hoping that his newfound maturity will not lead to an unpleasant surprise....

6-9-19: No surprises of the unpleasant sort have yet materialized, but one rather interesting phenomenon has occurred, although after all the recent magical Changes in the Clan it can not really be called a surprise: Today, while resting in the Elemental Magics cave, this gentle Pearlcatcher was “hit” by one of the increasingly frequent surges of magical energy passing through the lair. She has suffered no physical damage from the experience, but now, like many in the Clan, she has acquired a visual representation of her various magical Gifts, as she is now displaying a Luminous Halo, along with both a Crystalcourt Halo and a Gladegift Halo. It seems that while her Air Magic is focused mostly on the Mental Arts, her Earth Magic appears to encompass both the Physical and the Natural world, together. Perhaps this is why her familiars are so different…
