________________________Lore________________________ Hushed, rapid whispers under breaths often rumor Ivy the daughter of Gladekeeper...appearing one moment with scales the colors of verdant leaves and eyes to match the Gladekeeper's own; no one truly knows where she came from. She doesn't mind, in all honesty; she's happy with her current family and that's all that matters. When she appeared mysteriously on said day, the clan's two leading matriarchs adopted her, not knowing what else to do with the excitable hatchling. Thus, she grew up cared for and bright-eyed, eyes destined to scour the land for every crack and crevice until she knew it all. Here, however, is where she found a slight companionship with one of the more mysterious clan residents- Frappe. No clue to where he came from, revered with a god-like status (except in this case it was right), and eyes that, unlike Ivy's own, have time and time again scoured endlessly across the land. She grew especially close to Frappe's rumored-to-be ex-husband, Aishling; another Spiral, and also one who was godly revered. He fed her need for knowledge and wonder, and happened to introduce her to his son, Ishlyn, who Ivy got along with nearly instantly. They, along with Ghost, Ivy's older adoptive sibling, grew into the self-proclaimed "dragons that- uh...explore'n stuff!" (In Ivy's own words) As she got older up, her love for exploration grew, as did her surprising efficiency with mechanical bits-n-bobs. She became the go-to if you needed something simple like a clock or pocketmouse fixed. She furthermore enjoyed building her own little trinkets, and began somewhat of a collection. |

One day, when Ivy and Ghost were playing together in a field, they came across a single, especially small maple caterpillar. Ghost was drop-dead terrified of anything with more than six limbs, so they immediately said no to taking it home- that was the last time they ever made that unfortunate decision when faced with Ivy and an animal |
