One day, during his travels, Frappe came across a smoldering forest. Trees burned to ash, embers still flitting through the air - it seemed almost as if the Flamecaller herself had descended upon the desolate forest.

Not a soul in sight, Frappe let his gaze wander. Charred remains were all that was left of this unfortunate place, and he sighed, drawing his feet across the ash.

Suddenly, a soft sound drew his gaze up. A small, ashen kitten clung helplessly to the branch of a tree, one of which flames still lapped at softly, like the gentle tides upon the shore.

He stood up and flapped his wings nervously, mind racing. The fires grew ever more steadily along the base of the tree and panic flared in his belly. He approached the kitten, cautiously, at first, before reaching up to cradle it in his talons. A soft, almost mechanical purr sounded from the creature, and Frappe smiled. "Why, hello there little one," He chuckled, eyes warming. Sitting down and taking care not to jostle the kitten, he absentmindedly brushed some of the soot from the cats face, before letting out a barely audible gasp. Why, this kitten was mechanical; no wonder it sound as such! The cat - no, golem? cat golem? - stared back at him, eyes wide.

Frappe blinked, his amber eyes flashing as he chewed on the thought. "Well-.." He paused, before letting out a hum.

"What do you think of the name Arden?"
