━ THE NORTHERN TAIGA ━

As a youngster, Brightmoons believed that nothing she did could go wrong and was very focused on exploring everywhere that she could reach. The hatchery? Boring -- escaping the caretaker was her first rush of adrenaline. The labyrinth of tunnels? Not as expansive as Brightmoons had hoped, or as interesting. She had them memorized before her parents names. Rumors of the surface? That was definitely something worth investigating. After a little bit of planning and practicing her sneaking skills, Brightmoons managed to get by the guard rotations and slip up and out into the world for the first time.

What Brightmoons didn't realize was that she left via a one-way exit.

Already the size of an adult Tundra, but still very much a child, Brightmoons did not know what else to do but keep looking. Maybe she would find a way back below... Or maybe not. But whatever the case, she was hopeful. It was a child's naivety.

Brightmoons was lucky to run into Lightfoot when she did, half-starved and near death at the beginning of heavy snowfall. The Mirror was a little confused about Brightmoons' age at first, but after their initial meeting concluded she was some kind of giant Tundra child who knew nothing about the world and took her under her wing.

Brightmoons is now the adopted daughter of Luckystone and Lightfoot. Whatever she was before was gone, pushed to the back of her mind by her near-death experience and kept at bay by the love from her new parents.
