Nestia, despite being an Ancient, roams freely away from the Cave of Echoes. None are really sure how she got out or if she was even there to begin with, but Sirius stumbled upon her one day and obviously had to take her in. Although Nestia doesn't see much action outside the confines of the Wardens' den, Sirius fearing what will happen if any dragons were to find out about an Ancient on the loose. She only comes out in the most dire of situations, unleashing her power linked with her starry mane; hypnosis. Besides that, Nestia is rather chatty, yapping away in a tongue no one understands. Only Bayuda is able to assign some meaning to her words with her own very broken and very sparse understanding of an Acnient's language. Most of the Wardens try to keep up with her yammering at least, slowly building up their own sense of comprehension.

RELATIONSHIPS

Sirius, being the dragon who first found her, was usually the kindest and most patient one with Nestia. Despite him not understanding a lick of what she's saying most of the time, Nestia can tell he's still trying to understand and communicate with her.

Bayuda is one of the only dragons that can somewhat understand her at least, and while Nestia appreciates the efforts of the rest of the Wardens, its refreshing knowing for certain a dragon can understand. They frequently are seen talking to each other slowly, as Bayuda also tries to teach Nestie modern dragon tongue.
