Bayuda used to feel the light press gently on her scales. The light she so cherished dearly as a priest for lords that brought that very rays that warmed her scales. She wanted to be able to hold that same light in her claws though, to be able to give that comfort to soothe other dragons. So she did what no priest dared to do; train to become a god. But the very god she so highly regarded scoffed at Bayuda and punished her for what they saw as attempted treason. They gave her the power she so desired, but it was shoved in a mortal body that was unfit to hold such power. Her body now contained the golden ichor that flowed through the gods' blood but seeped through cracked scales. In fear of judgement and harm from her former peers, Bayuda fled to Down Underneath, seeking refuge with the Wardens. She carries a goblet now to collect the excess ichor that flows from her body endlessly.

Bayuda and Sirius, despite seeming the closest of friends, have only known each other for mere moons. Yet Bayuda fully trusts Sirius for how much he has accommodated for her and her condition.

Bayuda has become fond of the little Veilspun and their broken conversations together. As Bayuda doesn't do much as a Warden, she enjoys helping Nestia slowly parse her way through modern dragon tongue.
